OJ the old fashioned way

An image (straight out of camera) I'm thinking of reshooting tomorrow since the highlights are kind of bugging me. Any critiques/comments very welcome.

    i wish you would make out the straw better. it took me awhile to figure out what that was

    haha what if you have like juice droplets just falling off from the side

    I mean it's a bit of an exaggeration but most commercial work is (i don't mean that as an insult - please don't take it that way).

    Also I'd say that fold in the back, toward the left corner, is a bit distracting. I do like the visible bumps in the orange. Very sensory.

    The folds in the back drop on the left side are rather distracting. But the texture of the orange is very interesting.

    Thanks for the comments. What do you mean Maria? More in focus or that it should look more like a straw? I wanted a striped one but I couldn't find one on campus and I didn't feel like going to a store just to get straws haha. Thanks for the idea of adding juice droplets Sam, I'll try that tomorrow. You're right about the fold in the back, too distracting.

    You could draw a stripe with a marker. :D And I do like the texture of that orange..
