Jonas Bendiksen

Jonas Bendiksen is quickly becoming one of my favorite photographers. He is a photojournalist and makes stunning images out of the less spectacular stories in the world. As he says, "I love working on stories that get left behind in the race for the daily headlines - journalistic orphans. Often, the most worthwhile and convincing images tend to lurk within the hidden, oblique stories that fly just below the radar."

American Photo

American Photo is a photography magazine that covers a variety of photography genres. It's usually a really good read and opened my eyes to some really amazing work. The November-December issue even had an article on music photography! I've really got to start photographing some musicians/bands around Rochester.

Swim Meet

I'm not sure how I feel about this image. I liked it at first but I'm not as sure right now. Wish the swimmer was sharper.

I'm Juan Madrid and this is my photo arts two blog. It looks like winter quarter at RIT is shaping up to be fun. Should make for some interesting photographs at least.
